Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and prepare bank statements.
- Support the finance team in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of financial transactions using accounting software.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
- Identify discrepancies in ledgers and escalate them to the senior accountant.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (Debits/Credits, General Ledger) is preferred but we provide training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills.
