Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and analyses using Excel.
- Support the Senior Accountant during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, internship, or academic project experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
