Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and spreadsheets using Excel.
- Process payroll assistance and prepare tax documents under direct supervision.
- Perform month-end close procedures and assist with annual audits.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budget preparation for various departments.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Eagerness to learn new accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
