Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls and auditing standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or a related field.
- CPA certification or CPA eligible is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
