Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for management review.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all tax withholdings are correct.
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing documentation.
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
- Provide support to the senior accounting team on various ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
