Responsibilities
- Assist in Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate records.
- General Ledger Support: Perform daily data entry and reconciliation tasks to ensure the integrity of our financial statements.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements with internal ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Help prepare monthly and quarterly reports under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain organized files for tax purposes and assist with internal audits.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (like QuickBooks or SAP) to input and track financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we are looking for raw talent and eagerness to learn.
- Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles and general math proficiency.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
