Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform basic bank reconciliations and general ledger account maintenance.
- Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, and expense reports.
- Support the senior accounting team during month-end and year-end close processes.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding account status and billing in a professional manner.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements and reports.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables) highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
