Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate records.
- General Ledger Support: Help maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Compliance & Auditing: Support internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation and data.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for automation and suggest improvements to accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Professionalism: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
