Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely billing to clients.
- Bank Reconciliation: Monthly review of bank statements to ensure balances match company records.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate tax withholdings and employee compensation.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certification: Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or Bookkeeper) preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
