Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Accounting Team with the preparation and reconciliation of monthly financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by collecting and organizing necessary supporting documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Conduct basic variance analysis to assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or related field).
- Strong academic record with a focus on mathematics or finance-related coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas are required).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in complex data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
