Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation tasks.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary financial data and preparing variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and government reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- File and organize financial documents and records for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (graduates encouraged to apply).
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related internship role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
