Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budget analyses.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with internal audit requests and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Familiarity with basic accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
