Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- General Ledger Support: Assist in recording daily transactions and maintaining the general ledger.
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing process by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial statements and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience or relevant internship in accounting (Entry Level).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred).
- Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling financial data and reconciling accounts.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
