Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and monthly financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings under supervision.
- Maintain and organize financial records, filing systems, and databases.
- Collaborate with the senior finance team to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of professional experience or internship experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
