Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry and accounts payable/receivable processing with high accuracy.
- Assist senior accountants with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Support the payroll process by gathering necessary documentation.
- Assist in preparing basic monthly reports for management review.
- Identify discrepancies in financial data and report them to the finance supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior accounting experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Strong basic math skills and ability to work with numbers with 100% accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a bonus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and willingness to learn new accounting software (training provided).
