Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and maintain organized financial records.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end closing processes.
- Update and maintain the company’s general ledger system.
- Support the accounting team with data entry and spreadsheet management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is highly preferred).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a professional work ethic.
