Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Prepare and analyze basic financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
