Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and code invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Process weekly and monthly accounts payable transactions using accounting software.
- Manage and maintain the AP filing system, both physical and digital.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to clarify invoice details and resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and generate required reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
