Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a nightly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the month-end close process.
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Perform month-end and year-end audits and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
