Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Process payroll entries and assist with quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Generate accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial audits.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero (cloud-based experience required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-capable or hybrid office setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience is preferred.
