Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions accurately.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for night staff accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (2nd shift).
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
