Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications, financial statements, and tax returns to assess borrower risk and creditworthiness.
- Develop credit scoring models and determine appropriate credit limits and terms for new and existing clients.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of default or delinquency.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and present recommendations to the credit committee.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the loan management system.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to facilitate smooth loan closings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
