Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of daily transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing personalized service and financial guidance.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to meet sales goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and reconcile the teller drawer daily.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud or suspicious activities in accordance with security protocols.
- Assist in branch operations, including opening and closing procedures and lobby management.
- Answer incoming phone calls and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and core banking software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Notary Public commission.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
