Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive creditworthiness evaluations for commercial and individual applicants
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports with clear recommendations for approval/decline
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit practices
- Present findings to credit committees with data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Expert proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with credit scoring models (FICO, Beacon)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
