As a tax associate, you'll gain hands-on experience in individual and small business tax preparation while working alongside CPA mentors. This is your opportunity to build a professional foundation in tax compliance, client communication, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual income tax returns (Form 1040 series)
- Assist with business tax filings (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs)
- Organize and maintain client financial documentation
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries) for data entry
- Communicate with clients regarding tax document requirements
- Learn tax law updates under CPA guidance
- Contribute to tax compliance research projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to pursue Enrolled Agent certification

- Nevada residency required (local candidates preferred)
