Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable and receivable with timely reconciliation
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
- Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Support annual audits and tax documentation preparation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in numerical tasks
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Relevant qualification (AAT, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
