Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll records
- Process month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage vendor invoicing, expense reports, and payment processing
- Assist with annual audits and tax documentation preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closing and reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
