Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and resolving account inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions and cash drawers (Vault Cash).
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards (BSA/AML).
- Assist in branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ATM maintenance.
- Handle cash reconciliation and ensure all daily settlements are processed on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with people from all backgrounds.
- Basic math skills and high attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check and credit check.
