Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership federal and state tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes.
- Maintain accurate client files and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
- Participate in firm-wide training and quality control reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or currently studying for CPA license preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting.
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte, or Drake) is highly desired.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
