Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate payment terms strategically
- Conduct three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payment runs totaling $2M+
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Conduct internal audits and maintain SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- SAP or Oracle ERP system certification
- Proven track record in process optimization and cost reduction
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- APICS or CAPP certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
