Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing technologies and business models
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging disruptions, competitive landscapes, and strategic opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to accelerate innovation
- Design and implement frameworks for measuring long-term strategic impact and adaptability
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global futurism conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing executives and diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning tools
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurism work or implemented strategic innovations
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex, fast-changing environments
