Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional teams to incubate and scale breakthrough products in quantum computing, biotech, and AI ethics
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and global R&D institutions
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and Board of Directors to inform billion-dollar investment decisions
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for emerging domains
- Mentor next-generation futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching at least three market-defining technologies
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Futures Studies, or related quantitative field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI, neurotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Certification in Futures Research Methodology (FRM) or equivalent
- Experience advising governments on technology policy and ethical frameworks
