Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop quantitative forecasting models for adoption trajectories of emerging innovations
- Architect scenario-based strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author trend briefs and executive reports translating foresight into competitive advantage
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for anticipated market disruptions
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and innovation summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing scenario-based strategic frameworks
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPS preferred)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi, weak signal analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
