Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies with department managers
- Prepare and file federal/state tax forms (941s, 940s, local tax filings)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations monthly with general ledger accounts
- Administer garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments
- Stay current on FLSA, DOL, and IRS regulations affecting payroll
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and employee inquiries
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Strong understanding of FLSA, FICA, and state/local payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
