Your Role
As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and data management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain the general ledger system on a daily basis.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Compliance: Help ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a relevant internship is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with accounting software is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when working with numbers and financial data.
