Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
