Responsibilities
- Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and recommending appropriate financial products
- Balance cash drawers and maintain strict compliance with bank security protocols
- Open new accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit) and cross-sell bank services
- Operate teller terminals and digital banking platforms efficiently
- Document transactions accurately and adhere to anti-money laundering regulations
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with diverse clientele
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional evenings
- Texas Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Pass background check and pre-employment credit screening
