Responsibilities
- Perform detailed monthly and quarterly variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budgeted forecasts.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term strategic planning and capital budgeting initiatives.
- Create comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and support the month-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Streamline financial reporting processes using advanced Excel functions and database querying tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related area.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, including DCF analysis and sensitivity analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and SQL is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
