Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Develop complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability trends.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership.
- Budget Management: Assist in the creation and management of departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify variances between actuals and budgets, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel and data visualization tools to interpret financial data and present findings clearly.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and propose automated solutions to improve accuracy and speed.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to GAAP and internal control policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is mandatory.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy and documentation.
- CPA/CFA: Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or CMA) is a plus but not required.
