Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop complex financial models to predict revenue, expenses, and profitability trends for the upcoming fiscal years.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for executive stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and support the department heads in the budgeting process.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and recommend automation or optimization strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the banking or corporate sector.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with financial modeling software (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and reporting.
