In this role, you will act as a key partner to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights. You will drive our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, ensuring we remain competitive and profitable in the dynamic South Florida market.
Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement in financial reporting and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand business drivers and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to internal controls and relevant regulatory standards.
- Market Research: Conduct industry research and competitor analysis to identify trends impacting our financial performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or investment banking.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and SQL required.
- Software: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
