Responsibilities
- Develop Comprehensive Financial Models: Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
- Conduct Variance Analysis: Perform detailed comparisons between actual results and budgeted figures to identify trends, variances, and root causes.
- Operational Budgeting: Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor annual operating budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with business goals.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and high-level monthly and quarterly reports for executive leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational efficiencies to optimize financial performance.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide context for financial projections.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with financial reporting software.
- Data Visualization: Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA designation is a plus.
