- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Process payroll and manage tax compliance for multiple entities
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial operations
- Assist with audits and financial analysis for strategic decision-making
- Train junior accounting staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-entity systems
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven track record of reducing processing errors by 30%+
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
