The Role:
You will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and forecasting future performance. You will work closely with department heads to understand business needs and provide the data-driven insights necessary to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Financial Data: Conduct in-depth variance analysis and forecasting to monitor performance against budget and identify trends.
- Develop Models: Build and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation decisions.
- Prepare Reports: Create accurate, timely, and insightful monthly and quarterly financial reports for executive leadership.
- Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations for operational improvement.
- Market Research: Monitor industry trends and economic indicators to provide context for internal financial performance.
- Process Improvement: Review and optimize financial reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), SQL, and visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, concise narratives and strategic insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a commitment to quality in all deliverables.
