Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial models and forecasting reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor spending against allocated budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare clear, concise presentations for senior leadership regarding financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus.
- Must be willing to work in our Houston, TX office 3 days a week.
