Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support strategic business planning and budgeting processes.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis between actual results and budgeted figures, providing clear explanations for significant deviations.
- Reporting: Prepare high-level monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency across the finance department.
- Cost Control: Assist in the development of cost-saving initiatives and monitor spending to ensure adherence to organizational budgets.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with relevant GAAP standards and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial modeling software. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Certification: CPA, CFA, or CMA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
