Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees with 100% accuracy
- Manage tax filings and compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Administer employee benefits deductions and retirement contributions
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through meticulous record reconciliation
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Onboard new hires with complete payroll documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Conduct payroll audits quarterly to ensure regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll systems
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Texas payroll regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot table and VLOOKUP skills
- PHR or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting tight payroll deadlines
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
