Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal/state regulations (e.g., AML, BSA, OFAC)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for financial institutions
- Develop/implement compliance policies and training programs
- Investigate regulatory violations and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with legal and executive teams on compliance strategy
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for regulatory bodies
- Stay current on evolving compliance legislation and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in banking/finance
- Strong knowledge of federal/state compliance regulations
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in compliance software and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for El Paso market
