Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Develop and maintain a diverse client base through proactive relationship management and strategic networking in the Baton Rouge community.
- Financial Planning: Create comprehensive financial plans that address retirement, estate, tax, and investment goals specific to each client's unique situation.
- Portfolio Management: Analyze market trends and manage investment portfolios to maximize returns while mitigating risk for clients.
- Consultative Sales: Conduct needs analyses and present tailored solutions that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all advice and recommendations adhere to strict regulatory standards and provide timely, accurate performance reporting.
- Market Presence: Represent Sterling Wealth Management at local community events and seminars to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Licenses: Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent state licenses) required; CFP certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or related sales roles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Goal Orientation: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building a robust book of business.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and a deep commitment to the fiduciary standard of care.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Redtail) and financial planning tools.
