Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts weekly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 48-hour turnaround
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage payroll processing for 15+ employees bi-weekly
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Implement QuickBooks optimizations for client efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Washington state business license (or ability to obtain)
- A/P, A/R, and payroll processing certifications preferred
- Proven track record of meeting weekly deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy rate
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
